Chronality Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2025
Chronality (“the App”) helps you track fasting and related health metrics. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. If you have questions, contact support@your-email.com.

What data we collect
From your device (local):
-
App preferences and settings (e.g., units, goals).
-
Fasting sessions and history you create in the app.
If you connect third‑party sources (optional):
-
Fitbit: profile display name/email (if provided by Fitbit), weight logs, blood pressure logs, resting heart rate summaries, and sleep summaries.
-
Apple Health (if you enable it): only the specific types you authorize (e.g., weight, heart rate variability, menstrual cycle).
We do not collect any data unless you explicitly choose to connect a source and grant permission.

How we use data
-
To display your information in the app (e.g., recent measurements, charts).
-
To compute basic insights (e.g., averages/trends).
-
To maintain your connection state (Fitbit tokens are stored securely on‑device).
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.

Where your data is stored
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a cloud server for this app at this time. If your device uses iCloud/backup, your OS may back up app data according to your system settings.

Third‑party services
When you connect Fitbit, your use is additionally governed by Fitbit’s terms and policies. We access Fitbit data via the official Fitbit API only with your permission, and we use it solely to provide in‑app features you request. We comply with Fitbit Platform Terms and Policies regarding data use and storage.

Your choices
-
Do not connect: You can use the app without connecting Fitbit or Apple Health.
-
Disconnect: At any time, you can disconnect Fitbit from the app (Settings → Manage Fitbit → Disconnect). This clears the Fitbit access tokens from your device.
-
Delete local data: You can remove entries you created inside the app, or delete the app from your device to remove local data.
-
Revoke Fitbit access: You can also revoke the app’s access from your Fitbit account settings.

Children’s privacy
Chronality is not intended for children under 13. If you believe we have received data from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in‑app.
